This workshop is an exciting collaboration with the Museum of the Riverina — a one-off workshop held inside their beautiful new museum space. In celebration of rare trades, we are offering a tapestry weaving workshop. Our easy-to-use tapestry looms provide a perfect canvas for crafting your own distinctive wall-hanging. We will guide you through the basics of weaving, using yarns and fleece, learning how to add texture, colour and pattern as you work. No prior experience is required.
The workshop is informal and hands-on, with each participant working on their own tapestry loom. For a small additional cost you may purchase the loom along with a selection of wool, so you can continue creating long after the class ends.
